VERONA, Wis. — Christmas Eve is just two weeks away and it the holiday season is in full swing in southern Wisconsin.
The lights are up, the snow is on the ground and if you were in Verona on Saturday you may have even seen some reindeer.
Sugar Creek Elementary School hosted Santa’s hooved helpers, along with a host of other holiday festivities. The reindeer may have been the main attraction, but there was also face-painting, balloon animals, storytelling, live music and a visit from Santa Claus.
“The excitement on their face and the questions they’re asking…its really a nice way for kids to experience something else during the holiday season,” Le Jordan said.
The event was put on by the Verona Chamber of Commerce.
