MADISON, Wis. — A driver hit a woman with their vehicle on Madison’s south side Wednesday evening, Madison police said.
The crash happened around 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of Moreland Road and Manor Drive. Police said the 47-year-old victim was crossing the street when the driver hit her.
The woman was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities did not share any other information about her condition.
The driver who hit her stayed at the scene and was cooperative with police, according to an incident report. He was cited for driving with a suspended license.
MPD’s investigation is ongoing.
