JANESVILLE, Wis. — Janesville police say they have arrested a man who called 911 saying he tried to kill his wife.
Police say they responded to a home on the 600 block of S. Franklin St. in Janesville, where they found the 33-year-old man waiting. The Janesville Police Department says the man was cooperative with officers and was arrested without any force being used.
The woman was taken to the hospital and treated for her injuries. Police did not provide any details on what type of injuries she had or what happened during the incident.
The man faces tentative charges of first-degree attempted homicide and domestic violence, but has not yet been officially charged.
