A Dubuque man has been sentenced to two years of probation after cocaine was detected in the system of his 1-year-old. 33 year old Dennis Thibadeau was sentenced in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after pleading guilty to a charge of child endangerment. As part of his probation, Thibadeau must continue with substance abuse treatment and comply with the Iowa Department of Human Services, according to the sentencing order from Associate Judge Robert Richter. A report says that testing of hair samples taken in September during a DHS investigation indicated the presence of cocaine in Thibadeau; Amy M. McDonough, 30, of Dubuque; and their 1-year-old child. Thibadeau and McDonough admitted to recreationally using cocaine to a DHS investigator.
