Registered voters in Dubuque County who did not vote in the last general election in November and have not updated their voter registration information will soon receive a notice of inactivity. The notice sent to those voters is part of a “no activity” process conducted by the Iowa Secretary of State’s office after every election, according to a press release. The release states that 18,727 voters will receive the notice in Dubuque County. Voters may check the box stating that they remain at the address on the card, sign the card, and mail it back with pre-paid postage. Voters who have moved can update their new address on the card.
