Galena tourism leader to resign this month

The president and CEO of Galena Country Tourism will resign later this month. Rose Noble, who has worked with the organization for about eight years and served as its leader for the past six years, will leave Galena to become president and CEO of Visit Spokane in Spokane, Wash. Her final day with Galena Country Tourism will be April 28. Noble said she currently is assisting Galena Country Tourism’s executive committee with establishing a transition plan and search committee for her replacement.
