Vehicle Catches on Fire, Driver Cited For Suspended License

A vehicle caught on fire on Highway 151 near Airport Road in Dickeyville Friday just before 5pm. 58 year old Brad Hochhausen of Cassville noticed the vehicle not functioning properly and pulled over to the side of the road. He found that there was a fire under the hood. Emergency services were immediately contacted and Dickeyville Fire and EMS were quick to respond to the scene, along with Donnie’s Towing. Hochhausen was then found to have a suspended license and was cited accordingly. For the safety of the public, the roadway was temporarily closed while the fire department worked to extinguish the flames. No injuries were reported.
