Police say a man chest bumped another man to the ground following an argument in Dubuque, causing the man to break his hip bone. 30 year old Andrew Hogan was arrested Monday at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center on a warrant charging assault causing serious injury. According to a report, an officer responded to MercyOne at about 10:35 a.m. Monday for a report of an assault. A nurse reported that Hogan and another man got into a physical fight around 8:30 a.m. The nurse reported that the two men were in the commons area arguing about politics and Hogan threatened the other man. A short time later, Hogan was standing near the nurses desk when the other man walked by. The two started to exchange words again, when Hogan eventually walked up to the other man and chest bumped him aggressively to the ground. The other man later was found to have broken his right hip bone as a result of the fall.
