Dubuque police arrested 23 year old George J. Smith of Dubuque Sunday around 2:30am on Main Street on charges of two counts of assault on persons in certain occupations, three counts of interference with official acts with injury, second-degree harassment and public intoxication. Reports say that Smith assaulted two Dubuque police officers and injured three other officers while being taken into custody.
