Dubuque Community Schools officials have announced two new assistant principals for the upcoming school year. According to a report, Jared Deutsch, who most recently was an instructional coach at Dubuque Senior High School since 2020, is the new assistant principal/registrar at Hempstead High School. At Dubuque Community Schools’ Alta Vista Campus, Dan Powers will serve as the assistant principal. Powers previously worked as a counselor at Senior and was the school’s counseling content leader for the 2022-2023 school year.
