Dubuque Police arrested 29 year old Melvyno Woods Jr. Of Dubuque around 6pm Wednesday at his residence on charges of domestic assault with strangulation, first-degree harassment, interference with official acts with injury, interference with official acts, assault, two counts of domestic assault with injury and two counts of second-degree harassment. Reports state that a Dubuque police officer was injured when Woods was taken into custody.
