Man Charged With Attempted Murder

A man is charged with attempted murder after police said he fired a gun at another man during a disturbance in Dubuque.  49 year old Kenneth Moore, of Monroe was arrested Wednesday night in the 800 block of West Fifth Street on a warrant charging attempted murder. The warrant was issued Tuesday. A report says that Dubuque police responded to the 2400 block of Stafford Street at about 4:15 a.m. on August 4 for a report of shots fired. Arriving officers found multiple spent shell casings in the street and a window broken out of a parked vehicle. Hayes was arrested August 4 on a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon in relation to the incident.
