Police say a Dubuque man was arrested after sending text messages threatening to shoot his ex-girlfriend’s current partner. 23 year old Leonardo Marinho was arrested around 4:30pm Thursday in the 2200 block of Foye Street on a charge of second-degree harassment. According to reports, Marinho was texting with an ex-girlfriend on Wednesday when he told her he was coming to her house in the 2200 block of Foye Street. She responded with a message to leave and that her current boyfriend would arrive soon. Marinho then allegedly sent several messages threatening to shoot her current boyfriend upon his arrival.
