The Dubuque Police Department participated in a traffic enforcement project in August that focused on speed violations, reckless driving and impaired drivers. The project took place on August 26 and also included the Iowa State patrol and the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department. The results of the traffic enforcement showed 69 traffic citations with 42 warnings, 11 arrests for OWI, 6 drug related arrests, plus two arrest warrants were issued.
