A Dubuque woman was sentenced to 15 days in jail and two years of probation after dogs under her care contracted a highly contagious canine disease. 33 year old Irene Tsakos was sentenced in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after pleading guilty to charges of two counts of animal neglect causing serious injury or death.
