Authorities say three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday in Dubuque County. 33 year old Zachary Roling of Holy Cross, and 16 year old Jack Gaul of New Vienna and his passenger, 14 year old Molly Gaul all were taken to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. According to the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department, Gaul’s vehicle was traveling east on New Vienna Road at about 7:25 a.m. Wednesday when he failed to stop at the stop sign at Holy Cross Road. Gaul’s vehicle then was struck broadside by Roling’s vehicle, which was traveling south on Holy Cross Road. Dense fog at the time of the crash resulted in near-zero visibility.
