Spahn and Rose Adds Lumber Company From Alabama

Spahn & Rose Lumber Co. has announced it will purchase City Lumber Co., a lumber and materials supplier and hardware store in Huntsville, Alabama. The acquisition is meant to bolster Spahn & Rose’s presence in the Southeast. A report says the name of the Alabama location will remain City Lumber, and local management will not change. Spahn & Rose has 25 locations throughout Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Georgia and now Alabama. The company was founded in 1904, and is headquartered in Dubuque.
