A fifth person has filed paperwork to run for Dubuque Community School Board, joining two other newcomers and a pair of incumbents. Dr. Sarah Jacobitz-Kizzier, a Dubuque family practice physician, filed Monday to seek one of four available four-year terms on the board in the upcoming Nov. 7 elections. The seats up for election are currently held by Kate Parks, Jim Prochaska, Tami Ryan and Lisa Wittman. Parks and Wittman have filed to run for re-election and will be joined by newcomers Cindy Mueller and Dirk Hamel on the ballot as well. Ryan and Prochaska are not seeking re-election.
