The Iowa County Communication Center received a report of a one vehicle accident on County Road NN in Avoca Thursday around 5pm. The Lone Rock Fire Department, Lone Rock EMS and Iowa County Deputies were paged to the scene. The Avoca Police Department, Avoca Fire Department and Avoca EMS also responded for mutual aid. One occupant was taken to a local hospital for undisclosed injuries. Wegner’s Towing assisted with vehicle removal.
