Florida Man Arrested for going armed with intent

Police said a Florida man displayed a handgun during an argument with another man during a disturbance in Dubuque. 23-year-old David R. Hall of Fort Pierce, Fla., was arrested at 4:24 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of East Third Street on charges of going armed with intent and assault while displaying a weapon. Court documents state that Hall was arguing with a man at the scene of a physical disturbance at 2:15 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of Central Avenue when Hall pulled out a handgun and held it down by his side. Hall ran toward the man with the gun still in his hand, but the physical disturbance broke up, Hall put the gun back in his waistband, entered a vehicle and left the area. Hall was apprehended during a traffic stop in the area of Third and Bell streets after he allegedly was involved in a separate disturbance in East Dubuque, Ill.
