$28 Million Proposal On Fast Track To Pass in Galena

A proposed $28 million project at Galena High School would connect the school to the district’s recently updated middle school facility and renovate more than 20,000 square feet of existing space. School board members approved the improvement and renovation concept for Galena High School. Next month, the board is expected to consider language for a $14.2 million referendum to help fund the project, which would come before voters in March and require a simple majority to pass.
