Strong Gaming Revenue At Both Dubuque Casinos

Dubuque’s two casinos reported strong gaming revenues in 2023, despite a slight decrease in overall revenue as compared to the previous year. Diamond Jo Casino and Q Casino collectively generated $123.67 million in gaming revenue in 2023, down 1.8% from 2022’s total of $125.98 million. Officials for DRA — the nonprofit license holder for Dubuque’s casinos — also shared at a meeting on Tuesday that DRA’s total distribution to the city of Dubuque for 2023 totaled $6.7 million.
