Authorities say a driver traveling in excess of 100 mph on Northwest Arterial led law enforcement on a chase in Dubuque. 25 year old Tyler Jones of Dubuque was arrested around 12:45 a.m. Saturday on a charge of eluding. A report says a Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department deputy observed Jones’ vehicle traveling faster than 100 mph in the 50-mph zone on Northwest Arterial at approximately 12:20 a.m. Saturday. The deputy attempted to stop Jones’ vehicle, which slowed to between 50 and 60 mph but would not stop. Jones’ vehicle eventually turned onto John F. Kennedy Road and then turned into a parking lot on Collision Drive. Jones exited the vehicle and was arrested. Jones also was cited with multiple traffic citations.
