A man from Lafayette County has been arrested for his 6th offense of OWI. Just before 8am Thursday, deputies from the Green County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Town of Monroe. A vehicle operated by 38 year old Ryan King of Argyle was southbound on County Highway J. The vehicle crossed the centerline, ran off the east side of the roadway, went over a bridge, and struck the stream embankment. King was injured in the crash. The vehicle had disabling damage and was towed from the scene. King was arrested for 6th offense of OWI and also on a warrant through Green County. King was also cited for operating while revoked (alcohol related), failure to keep his vehicle under control, failure to install an ignition interlock device and non-registration of auto. King was jailed pending court.
