Study On Traffic Patterns To Take Place

Dubuque City Council voted, 7-0, to hire Bolton & Menk Inc., of Des Moines, to study traffic patterns on Central Avenue and White Street from Fourth Street to 22nd Street at a cost of $265,000.  Bolton & Menk Inc. is tasked with providing solutions to calm traffic flow, create more livable neighborhoods, increase economic vitality throughout the corridor and create a comfortable public realm for walking and biking. It also is expected to provide input on the pros and cons of changing traffic from one-way to two-way through the corridor.
