A Dubuque teen has been sentenced to two years of probation for his involvement in two disturbances at local schools. 18 year old Ezekial Lewis-Grayson received deferred judgment in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County from District Associate Judge Robert Richter after pleading guilty to two counts of unlawful assembly. With a deferred judgment, if probation and payment obligations are successfully completed, the record of the case will be expunged. Reports say Lewis-Grayson was one of two students involved in an October 2022 fight outside the Alta Vista Campus in Dubuque. Lewis-Grayson was also among a group of people who entered Hempstead High School on Dec. 13, 2022, following an altercation between two students. The group was heard making threats against one of the involved students and was told to leave the building.
