Car Strikes House in Lafayette County

A deputy with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to County Highway E in Shullsburg Township Sunday around 9am where a car crashed into a house and there were minor injuries. 83 year old Ruth Quinn of Darlington was traveling on County Highway E when she lost control of her vehicle causing the vehicle to exit the roadway and strike a house. Quinn’s vehicle had moderate damage and was towed from the scene. The Shullsburg Fire Department and Shullsburg EMS assisted at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
