Caves Remain Closed At Maquoketa Caves State Park

The caves at a local state park remain closed until next month. Maquoketa Caves State Park issued a reminder that the caves will not open for exploration until April 15 due to bats’ continued hibernation at the park on Caves Road in Maquoketa. Modern camping facilities also are due to reopen April 15th.
