Jo Daviess County Country Fair Charities Inc. is accepting applications from other nonprofit organizations across the county. Funding for the grants comes from the proceeds of the annual Galena Country Fair, held in Galena each fall. The organization provides financial assistance to people in need in the county through grant awards to other nonprofit groups. According to a report, aApplications must be postmarked by May 1. Grants will be awarded in June.
