Authorities say a house fire caused $200,000 in damages in Dubuque County. The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department and Worthington and Dyersville fire departments responded to a fire at approximately 4:50pm Wednesday at a residence in Worthington. According to the Dubuque County Sheriff’s department, the fire began on the rear porch before spreading to the house. An investigation revealed that the fire was likely caused by an electrical issue with the porch lighting. Dubuque County Sheriff Joe Kennedy said there were no injuries reported. The occupants stayed with relatives immediately after the fire.Â
