On May 7th, a traffic stop was conducted on US Highway 61 in the Township of Marietta. The driver was identified as 43 year old Geramia Swadley of Soldiers Grove, and his passengers 28 year old Jourdan Womack and 21 year old Corben Eck of Platteville. During the stop, a Grant County Sheriff’s Office K9 was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances within the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine. Also, Womack was discovered to have drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine on her person. Swadley was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a restricted controlled substance, 4th Offense, operating a motor vehicle while revoked, and two counts of felony bail jumping. Womack was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Eck was arrested on an active warrant. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office and Boscobel Police Department. Â
