The Iowa State Patrol reports that one person was killed and another person was injured in a head-on collision early Sunday in Jackson County. A report states that a vehicle was traveling north on Highway 52 north of Bellevue at 3:27 a.m. Sunday when it crossed the center line and struck a southbound vehicle head on. The names of the individuals involved are being withheld pending family notification.
