The Iowa State Patrol has identified the individuals involved in a fatal head-on collision in Jackson County. 29 year old Erica Geiger of Dubuque, was killed in the crash on June 2 north of Bellevue. According to a report, 39 year old Rustin Bormann of Preston was injured and was taken by ambulance to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. A report states that at approximately 3:25am on June 2nd, Bormann’s vehicle was traveling north on U.S. Highway 52 near mile marker 29 when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck Geiger’s vehicle head-on. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
