Dubuque Pools To Enact End Of Summer Hours

With summer winding down, the city of Dubuque is implementing end-of-season hours at its two pools. The new hours will take effect at Flora and Sutton pools on Monday, Aug. 5. The last day for swimming at Sutton Pool is Aug. 11, while Flora Pool will be open through Aug. 18. Starting Monday, Aug. 5, both pools will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday with open swim from 1 to 4:30 p.m. and 6 and 8 p.m. Adult swim will take place 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m. with water playground hours being 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Aug. 10 and 11, both pools will be open 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with open swim beginning at 1 p.m. The same schedule will be in effect at Flora Pool only Aug. 12 through Aug. 18.
