Village Bar Supper Club Hopes To Reopen in November

Owners of the Village Bar Supper Club in Kieler are looking to rebuild after an EF-1 tornado damaged the building in mid-July. Kurt and Shelley Thumser own the supper club. They were not there the day of the storm, which was on July 15th. Kurt Thumser said it was their grandson who told them what had happened. When they finally got to the supper club, they said they were shocked. Neither of them had been through something like this before and they said they hope to never experience it again. They hope to have the supper club running once again in November. The couple also own a house down the road which was also damaged from the storm. That’s something else they said they have to deal with.
