Jo Daviess County Administrator Resigns

Jo Daviess County Administrator Scott Toot has resigned, effective this past Friday. The Jo Daviess County Board accepted Toot’s resignation. According to a report, the motion to accept Toot’s resignation followed a one-hour closed session and was approved 16-0, with Board Member Darcy Wild absent. Toot served as county administrator since April 2021, when he was appointed by a unanimous board vote to replace retiring County Administrator Dan Reimer.
