Authorities said a Wisconsin man has pleaded guilty to a federal firearm charge after police said he pulled a gun on a woman and threatened to kill her in her Dubuque home. 37-year-old Mickey L. Miller of Milwaukee was convicted of one count of possession of a firearm by a felon in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A press release states that in a plea agreement, Miller admitted that he possessed a loaded firearm and ammunition on Oct. 16. A witness told law enforcement officers that Miller had pointed a firearm at her and threatened to kill her and others. Miller has a prior felony conviction for robbery with threat of force. Sentencing will be set after a presentence report is prepared and Miller faces a possible maximum sentence of 15 years’ imprisonment, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release following any imprisonment.
