No injuries in Dubuque County fire

On Tuesday at 4:19PM, the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, Peosta Police Department, Centralia-Peosta Fire Department, and Epworth Fire Department were dispatched to Pilot Grove Rd. for a report of a structure fire. Investigation revealed that a controlled burn had spread to an abandoned outbuilding, owned by Kenneth Kalb of Peosta. Due to the condition of the barn, prior to the fire, family estimates no financial loss. No injuries were reported during the incident. The fire does not appear suspicious at this time.
