One hurt in Jo Daviess County crash

On Saturday at  6:33 P.M., the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle traffic crash involving injuries on Route 5 West approx. ½ mile west of North Indian Ridge Road. Upon arrival, Deputies learned that a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Adrianna M. Becker overturned off the roadway in the south side ditch. Becker lost control, struck a utility pole, and overturned while attempting to negotiate a curve. Becker sustained minor non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque by East Dubuque Ambulance. Becker was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
