One dead following Galena crash Sunday

Galena police have released details about a fatal crash Sunday night. According to KWQC, emergency were dispatched Sunday around 7:15 p.m. to Highway 20 West, where they found David K. Sproule of Galena lying in the roadway while the driver, Robert Buman of Galena was performing life-saving measures. Officers continued life-saving efforts before Sproule was taken to Midwest Medical Center, where he died. No charges have been filed, and the crash remains under investigation.
