Nicole Kidman has stepped into Troye Sivan’s latest musical era, starring in the video for his new single, She’s the Best. Released August 14, the visual places Kidman inside a stylish nightclub setting where she becomes the focus of Sivan’s attention.
Alongside the single’s release, Sivan announced that She’s the Best will also serve as the title track of his fourth studio album, arriving October 9. The project follows his 2023 album Something to Give Each Other and marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Australian singer.
Directed by Gordon von Steiner, the video also features drag performer Sasha Colby and shows Sivan appearing in drag. The visual explores femininity and admiration through nightlife, fashion and performance.
Kidman and Sivan have worked together before. Both appeared in the 2018 film Boy Erased, making the music video a reunion eight years later.
She’s the Best also features contributions from several collaborators, including Jack Antonoff, George Daniel, Styalz Fuego and Leland, with Charli XCX providing vocals on the song’s outro.
