School officials in Dodgeville have decided that classes district-wide will be done online only thru the end of November. In an email to parents, it was announced that 6 Dodgeville staff members have tested positive for COVID-19. Following those test results, many students and staff are being asked to quarantine. School officials say being able to adequately staff in-person instruction has become a concern – which led the district to switch to a virtual instructional model for all grade levels. The change begins October 29th continuing thru November 30th. District buildings will also be closed to students, staff and visitors thru November 12th for deep cleaning. School offices will open November 2nd for parents to call with questions. Dodgeville school officials say they will monitor the situation and determine if it is safe to resume school on December 1st.
