MADISON, Wis. — Madison College Performing Arts is hosting a free virtual chat with Tony-Award-winning actress Karen Olivo at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
Olivo will talk about her training, experience working in theater and television, and perspective on how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted her career, according to a news release.
Following a set of questions from Madison College theater students, the audience will be able to participate in a moderated Q&A session.
In addition to her Tony-Award-winning performance as Anita in the revival of West Side Story, Olivo has played roles in the Chicago production of Hamilton and Moulin Rouge on Broadway. She’s also appeared in CBS’ “The Good Wife,” NBC’s “Harry’s Law” and other shows and movies.
