JEFFERSON, Wis. — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has once again asked for the public’s help in finding a man wanted in connection with a double murder from over the summer.
Authorities believe 62-year-old Kevin Anderson was involved in an incident that left his sister and brother-in-law dead and caused a house to be engulfed in flames. He has been charged with counts of first-degree intentional homicide, attempted intentional first-degree homicide, arson and felon in possession of a firearm.
Officials said there are no known vehicles tied to Anderson, but he is a known hunter and outdoorsman. The sheriff’s office has asked hunters to be on the lookout for Anderson, who was known to hunt within the thousands of acres near County Highway A and Highway 106.
Officials have repeatedly searched the area with the use of planes, helicopters and drones but were unable to find Anderson.
He has been described as a white man with blue eyes and balding brown hair who is 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds.
