MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin’s seven-day average of the percent of positive coronavirus tests has dropped to its lowest level since late October, but it is still nearly 30%. DHS data showed a seven-day average at 29.7% on Sunday, the lowest it’s been since Oct. 29 when it was 29.4%.
Combined data from state and county health dashboards showed an additional 3,236* cases of COVID-19 in the state, which makes Wisconsin’s total count of cases since the start of the pandemic 355,004*.
Five* more people died, which is a total of 3,061* in the state.
89more people were hospitalized between Saturday and Sunday, the Department of Health Services said. A total of 4.5% of people in the state with COVID-19 have required hospitalizations.
DHS said 276,574 people, or 78%, in Wisconsin have recovered from COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
