SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — Madison police confirmed Tuesday that an off-duty police officer was injured in a fatal Sun Prairie crash that involved two cars and two pedestrians Monday night.
One person was killed in the crash, according to Sun Prairie police. Two people were hospitalized for injuries suffered in the crash, according to a news release.
A Madison Police Department spokesperson did not comment on the officer’s condition.
The crash closed all lanes of Highway 19 at White Tail Drive for several hours, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
