MONONA, Wis. — Monona police were called to a residential street on Thanksgiving for a report of shell casings found in the roadway.
Officers responded to Roselawn Avenue north of East Broadway around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. According to an incident report, the caller told police they noticed property damage, but the owners of the property weren’t home.
Police said they also spoke with someone who reported eharing loud noises between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m., but they did not see anything or call police at the time.
Other neighbors reportedly heard noises during the late night or early morning hours, but they did not report the noise.
Officers with the Monona Police Department are investigating the incident.
