MADISON, Wis. — More than 1,000 people lost power Thursday afternoon after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole on Madison’s north side.
Dane County Dispatch said the crash happened near the intersection of Northport Drive and Packers Avenue. No one was injured in the incident.
According to MG&E’s power outage map, 1,071 people lost power after the crash.
Madison police and firefighters responded to the scene.
The crash was reported at 2:52 p.m., according to dispatch. Power is expected to be restored by 4 p.m., according to the outage map.
