VILLAGE OF ROCK SPRINGS, Wis. — One person died Saturday morning after crashing into a building in the Village of Rock Springs.
According to an incident report, the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a structure fire on East Broadway Street around 2:30 a.m.
The report said a car was driving fast on the street and the driver lost control, causing the car to crash into the building.
Officials said only the driver was in the car. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
