MADISON, Wis. — Over 200 more Wisconsinites have been hospitalized with COVID-19, according to the state Department of Health Services.
State and county health officials said 67 more people have died of coronavirus complications Tuesday, bringing the state’s death toll to 3,903*. An additional 214 were hospitalized with the virus between Monday and Tuesday. Of the state’s 11,140 hospital beds, 17% remain available for new patients.
State and county health officials recorded 3,871* new cases of the virus, which is well above Monday’s count and about the same as the daily rolling average of 3,876. Wisconsin has reached an all-time total of 418,784* confirmed cases, and roughly 57,000, or 13.8% of those cases remain active.
The seven-day average positivity rate went down slightly to 30.5%, while the seven-day equivalent for total tests by day saw a minor increase to 13.1%.

The Henry Vilas Zoo lightshow was canceled Tuesday as a result of coronavirus concerns. The outdoor event was slated to run from Nov. 27 through Dec. 27.
